Description

Thanks for looking this is the Dr Scaramanga Bond film car from 'The Man with the Golden Gun', also used Dukes of Hazard series.
This auction represents an opportunity to collect a rare Australian made Rambler, Matador x-coupe V8 by AMC.
The Australian Motor Corporation built these in Australia and this survivor presents as a good running/driving example from 1976.
All the owners have looked after it, last year I put a new brake system in, exhausts, carburetta, and new dual fuel gas system.
Its driven regularly and goes lovely.
The fronts seats are due for some fresh Houndstooth inserts (worn on drivers seat especially), all others ok.
Originally sold in off white, repainted by second owners son in red and looks as is.
The Rambler original V8 Motor runs smoothly and strong, it is unstoppable. The new carby, and box working fine etc. Handling and steering are good.
New brakes are excellent. Twin exhaust almost new. Tyres near new. Minor rust but nothing serious anywhere.
Anyway its my wifes dream car being sold off as part of our collection downsize, sold with full rego to NSW buyers only.
Note: Mechanic has just inspected and passed car.
If you have questions email through ebay, no scamer or texts replied.
The Matador x-coupe is unique, easy to repair and run, and will come up like a a dream or leave it as and enjoy it.
In the states these are now highly sought after 1970s retro classics.
Car is located in Hazelbrook, 2779
