Description

1983 Classic Mini Sprite For Sale

Imported from the UK in December 2012, this is a classic Mini Sprite (Cooper lookalike), and is now fully registered with a clear title in South Carolina.

This car is in great condition for it’s age, very well kept by the owners in the UK; and spent most of it’s life in one family. Lots of work done in keeping this Mini in good running order, the main details are listed below but please contact me for more information or with any questions.

This Mini starts first time and is a fun and reliable runaround, I would actually love to keep it myself, but finances require me to sell.

998cc
12g295 head (restored and refitted at 47,500 miles)
Single HS4 carb with K&N filter
Stage 1 kit
3 into 1 manifold
Alloy inlet manifold
New battery 3/27/13
Maniflow single box center exhaust (fitted early 2012)
Performance coil
New starter motor (January 2013)
Minifins at the rear with new shoes
Poly top engine steady
New engine bottom steady
Summer thermostat (76 degree) fitted
New handbrake cable
Halogen headlamps to replace sealed beams
12” Revo Lights - good condition but with some nicks
A539 tyres (fitted at around 47,500 miles)
Seat extenders fitted
Steering wheel adjustment bracket fitted
New water pump (Summer 2012)
Mostly waxoyled underneath
Yearly oil changes with high grade 20w50 Valvoline racing oil
Rolling road tuned January 2011
New clutch slave cylinder June 2014
New starter solenoid June 2014

The car is in great shape for its age, although does have some minor rust bubbles in places and slight rust in areas but nothing major. It does have a couple minor stone chips but again, nothing serious for a 30 year old car (see pictures for more detail).

Since the import I’ve done some work - had the starter replaced, installed a new battery, changed the thermostat for a summer one (76 degree), new clutch slave cylinder, new starter solenoid and and replaced some of the interior bright work.

I cannot assist with or cover shipping costs, although I can be present at pick up if collection has been arranged by the buyer. Deposit of $500 is required within 24 hours of the end of the auction and can be paid by PayPal, the balance is required within 7 days and can be paid by cashier’s check. Vehicle will not be released until payment is received in full.
