Description
Restored 1963 Austin Healey 3000 BJ7. This vehicle was subject to a complete rotisserie restoration in 2002-2004. Since then it has been drive about 12,700 miles and is a very reliable performer for its age and vehicle type. There is no current rust evident. Color is non standard but it attracts quite a bit of attention wherever it goes. It is Nissan Millennium Jade over white. The interior is ivory leather piped in doeskin color vinyl. Being that the restoration is over 14 years old there are some nicks and imperfections. Buyer has choice of wheels. 48 spoke new Dunlop chrome wire wheels with painted 48 spoke original wheel spare, or 5 minilite style aluminum knock off wheels.
Mechanical modifications include rear disc brakes built using a kit from Dennis Welch. Rear end has a factory 3.54 gear set which lowers the highway RPM to a comfortable 2500+/- at 65 mph. Overdrive is operational.
