1959 Austin Healey Sprite

This is a very solid good running Austin Healey Bugeye Sprite. It was restored a few years back and then it sat for a couple of years. I bought it and put it back on the road. New master cylinder and wheel cylinders and brake lines, carbs and gas tank cleaned, and a number of other small items. It runs and drives very well. It starts up well when cold and shifts, steers, and brakes very well. I'm not sure if I would jump in this car and drive cross countryyet. I havn't put that many shake down miles on the car but I don't see any obvious mechanical issues. This Bugeye is turn key fun!
It was updated to the specifications that you would want for one of these Bugeyes if you want to actualy drive on the open road. 1275cc engine from a later Sprite for plenty of power plus front disc brakes. The body looks good. It was not quite a concourse paint job-I can see a minor paint run on one fender. There are a few minor chips, etc here and there on the paint but really it looks really good overall. I don't see any rust on the car. They used a flat panel of steel to repair one place on the floorboard (shown in picture) The top, seats, and carpet are in excellent condition. This car comes with a nice tonneau cover and covers to store the side curtains (which are in excellent condition)
This car is sold with a current Georgia registraton. This acts as a title for this year car in Georgia and will get you a title in states that require them for this year car and is also good for customs and export to any country in the world.
