OK, First of all, if you cannot afford to bid, please don't BID!! The person who bid on this auction last week did not have the money to pay for the down payment, let alone the winning bid price! So, please save all of us some pain and valuable time, please only bid if you truly intend to buy this car and can afford to! Thank you everyone!
This is a great little 1961 Austin Healey "Bugeye" Sprite in bright, beautiful race-ready (or road-ready) Vivid Orange paint and has been nut and bolt restored from the frame up and everything you see is new, NOS or rebuilt to original spec. The transmission was overhauled and upgraded to an overdrive unit by Quantum Mechanics of Monroe, CT., I have a new set of air-cleaners/filters that go along with the car and some miscellaneous parts and interior trim pieces. But basically, what you see in the fotos is what you'll get. There was tons of time spent and quite a pile of money, to get it to this point and it only needs the minor (and preferential) finishing touches to complete this historical beauty!
Note: She is a bit dusty in the fotos, but at the moment, due to it being -19 degrees outside (w/o the windchill!), I cannot wash this sweet lil' baby at this time!
