Description

Hello,
Up for sale is one of our favorite cars in the collection. It has been finished since 2015 and been in the garage since. Probably not over 10 miles on it since. Pictures don't do it total justice. Color is the original deep metallic green finished with base coat clear PPG. Interior is from Legendary and in original pearl white. Car was not off frame but done nicely with front clip, doors, hood and trunk removed. Detailed nicely.
Drivetrain: This was originally a 350 car matching numbers. My goal was to build a sleeper so the SBB had to go. In it's place is a 462 Buick with several TA Performance goodies. Bottom end was built by legendary Joe Mondello in middle Tennessee just before he passed away. They worked the block to spec and installed flat top pistons. Good original set of heads taken apart and ported with TA Stage 1 valves/hardware installed. Never flowed the heads but they looked great inside. Edelbrock intake manifold topped with custom built QJet modded up east for the specs in this engine. TA 413 cam along with MSD ignition that is camouflaged to appear original. TCI turbo 400 transmission ordered from Advance auto. Stall converter matched to cam specs. TA shorty headers hooked to TA 3" mandrell bent full exhaust with flowmasters. 10 bolt 342 posi rear. Notice the 350 breather decal to confuse people when it's leaving them at a stop light. It's a beast. Thumps the ground and demands attention.
Interior: Legendary from bottom to top. New headliner, package tray, door and back panels, arm rest pads, seat covers and carpet. Perfect original steering wheel and dash pad. Perfect console. Nice original gauge bezel and new radio bezel. No ralley gauges because it was a base model originally.
Body: New bumpers, new tail light lenses, great chrome on all other items. Paint is very slick and straight. Car didn't have hardly any rust to start with and was wearing it's original paint. NOS dog dish hubcaps on blasted and painted wheels. T3 headlights. New grill. New gas tank, drag shocks painted in grey and clean painted underside. Very nice car.
Cons: Not much to speak of. Heater motor is not spinning and one little chrome knob is missing off of heater controls. Original radio isn't working. Slight seep from TCI trans mainly because it sits all the time and driving it or snugging the pan bolts would probably fix the issue. It hasn't been on the road but was started often and driven a mile or so each time. This isn't a frame off concours show car but rather a local show trophy winner that will be a pleasure to own.
No warranty. Sold as is in Johnson City Tennessee. I can't arrange shipping so that's up to you. $500 deposit due by Paypal when you win. Prefer cash for final pay when you arrive to pick it up. Or bank issued check and 10 days for it to clear first. I have been on ebay since almost 20 years back. Sold many classics. My rating speaks for itself. Thanks for looking!
