1978 Cadillac Sedan DeVille. V-8 425 cu in. rwd.
Car has lots of potential! Came from Bellingham-Lynden, Washington State.(Therefore no undercarriage rust problems, original paint and vinyl roof) (Chrome is intact-nice+)
Bought the car 2+ years with the intention of making super nice etc. (Needs very little)
True diamond, that's not rough at all!
Hate to part with; need to pay bills and holiday money etc.
No Reserve!
Will tell you up front what little it needs:
Tune-up, brakes getting little low, blower fan for air and heat
Body fillers in rear and minor rust spot around vinyl roof
Front passenger door doesn't open. (Broken clip-latch inside door?)
And the famous sagging headliner . . .
Now the postives: Which are many +++
Car can be used as a daily driver right now: Engine and transmission in great shape! (Fires right up)
Valve cover gaskets replaced. Transmission serviced and gaskets redone.(No metal particles in pan)
Has no leaks; which is amazing for age!
Cruise control, defrost, automatic-sentinel lights, power antenna, 8 track radio, power trunk, dual power seats, clock, power locks and windows all work!
Leather seats, vinyl roof and arm rests have no cracks.
Think its 111k miles? Hard to say with 5 digit odometer . . .
Will miss it when its gone . . . .
