Description
Relisted due to non payment. Restored less than 2 years ago. We have only ran about a half tank of fuel through it. Our little guy will not ride in it still so we need to let it go to a new home to be enjoyed. We restored this car so it would be a fast, reliable, fun weekend cruiser. It has a new White Performance 383 that pushes just under 500 hp with power steering. This thing will melt the tires!!! Transmission is a freshly rebuilt and beefed up T 400 with a new B&M shifter with reverse linkage. Strange Engineering 12 bolt rear end with 4.33 strange axles. Competition Engineering Slide a link adjustable traction bars. Willwood brakes. New dual fan BeCool radiator. Powder coated Weld wheels. All new wiring harnesses through out, no splices or spaghetti messes anywhere. New Autometer gauges and cups mounted on exterior. New electronic exhaust dumps. Interior consists of all new headliner, carpet, door and kick panels, custom upholstered seats, and all new weatherstripping. The car had a fiberglass front end so we replaced everything from the fire wall forward with all new steel; which includes 4" cowl hood, inner and outer fenders, radiator support, front header panel, valance panel, grille, headlights and signal lights, emblem also. There was some rust issues on some of the floor pan area so we cut out and installed new. No other rust issues anywhere. We also had the interior coated with POR15 before interior install. It is a matte blue paint job, not primer. A new fuel tank, sending unit, and lines were also installed. This 1968 Chevy Camaro is an adult owned car and no shortcuts were taken in making this a fun, reliable, and crazy fast weekend cruiser. We have $33000 invested in it and want it to go to a good home. Thanks for looking!
