1979 Camaro Z28

This car was originally purchased in upstate New York and included a small block 350 engine, manual 4-speed transmission, with no air conditioning. Within six (6) months, the original owner moved to California, where it was stored for many years and passed between three family members. The current owner purchased the car in 2018 from the first non-family member located in Tucson, AZ. After purchase, it was driven to Atlanta, GA. Included is documentation of family ownership, some maintenance, and all state registrations since original purchase.

This car is runs great and the current owner drove it in the 2018 Hot Rod Power Tour. It is also virtually rust free! There are two (2) small holes in the trunk floor on the driver’s side near the top of the axle hump. Dynamat covers these small holes to prevent water from entering the trunk. The holes can be seen from underneath the car.

1. 350 250hp GM Goodwrench crate engine installed early to mid-1990’s
2. 3.73:1 gears with posi-traction
3. New Tremec GM 600 5-speed transmission with about 3,000 miles

6. Hotchkis front lowering springs (2 inch, 600 lb)
7. Hotchkis 37-way adjustable shocks on all 4 corners
8. Cold air induction kit
9. Rebuilt front end with Global West Delrin bushings
10. Battery relocated to trunk
11. Kenwood Bluetooth system with faceplate in ashtray. Factory radio removed with blank installed.

Repaint includes:
1. New front windshield glass and weather strip. NOTE: Slight wiper scratch lower driver side.
2. New rear windshield weather strip around original glass
3. New trunk weather strip
4. New door weather strips and sweeps around original glass
5. New door and trunk lock cylinders rekeyed as factory
6. Functional hood scoop, no air box

Interior is original:
1. New ABS headliner
2. New headliner side trim
3. New “A” pillar covers
4. New sail panels
5. New package tray
6. New 6X9 speakers (2) installed in package tray
7. New 4-inch speakers (2) installed in factory dash location

Additional parts included:
1. New Tanks brand EFI baffled gas tank with fuel pump and sending unit. NOTE: Included due to intermittent fuel pump noise
2. 4-inch rear leaf springs with Global West spherical bearings
3. Hotchkis rear leafs (1.25) drop springs. These are similar to what’s on the car now, but with Global West spherical bearings installed.
