1972 Chevrolet Chevelle

This car was purchased new by my grandparents in 1972 and has been in the family and garage-kept ever since. This car was a daily driver until 2002 and has mostly sat in a garage since then. The car is completely original except for the engine, front seat cover, and modified to accept a modern radio. The engine was replaced with a 1977 Chevy 350ci in the 1990s and the front seat cover was replaced with a replicate cover in 2000. 15" Cragar wheels. The car has manual steering, manual brakes, and manual windows. Automatic 3speed column. Front disc brakes, rear drum brakes. Recently rebuilt front suspension and steering (box and linkages). Rebuilt 2BBL Rochester Carburetor. Recent tuneup (contacts, cap/rotor, etc). New tires. The paint is original aside from the right rear quarter, which was repainted in the 1970s after some very minor body work. The car has never been in a collision. The only major accident was when the right front wheel hit a curb and bent the frame. This happened in 2000 and the frame was repaired. The car is aligned and no effects of the damage are present. The only rust on the vehicle are small regions behind the rear tires
