I have a great running and driving 1956 Chevy pickup for sale here on eBay and locally here in Troy,NY
You can drive this truck any where with no problems.
I drive this truck all around NY, Massachusetts and VT
I purchased this truck in oct of 2016 from a dealer in Lakeland Florida.
Since I've owned this truck I have put a lot of money into it as I was fixing it up to keep it.
I have since found a truck from California that's just been restored and don't need any work done to the truck.
So this truck needs to find a new home.
This truck has a 305 Chevy small block motor with a mild cam shaft in it. (no issues with the motor)
The transmission is a turbo 350 3 speed automatic with a shift kit in the transmission. (no issues with the transmission).
The driveshaft was removed and sent to the machine shop and the drive shaft was balanced.
The rear end was serviced and new gear oil was installed in the rear end. The transmission shop informed me that the gears inside the rear end were newer so someone must have done that before I purchased the truck.
The gas tank was just removed from the truck a few weeks ago and I cut the gas tank open and sanded all the shit inside and then welded it back up. I have more pictures than eBay will allow but if you want to see more than just send me your email address and ill send you more pictures.
I also installed two new flow master mufflers in the exhaust.
This truck has a 1978 Camaro front frame in it.
This truck has power brakes on the front and drums in the rear.
Every part on the front suspension has been replaced, upper and lower ball joints, upper and lower control arm bushings, new springs, Bilstein front shocks, front rotors, and new brake pads.
Every part on the steering has been replaced, idler arm, pitman arm, inner and outer tie rods, center link assembly, sway bar bushings and sway bar links.
I even replaced the old rag joint in the steering column with a flaming river universal joint so there's no play in the steering wheel.
This truck has a brand new Edelbrock carburetor installed in the last year.
This truck has 17in bullet rims and tires, the rear tires do need to be replaced.
Every window in this truck have been replaced or is waiting to be replaced. the rt door glass and vent assembly are still in the box as is the back glass. I can install them before it goes to the next owner if you need me too.
There is a new grill in the truck that I received for Christmas last year.
I installed new halogen head lights and I have a new dimmer switch in the box ready to be installed.
This truck has power windows in both doors.
This truck has no door handles but it does have poppers to get in and out.
this truck has a incredible stereo system in it. it has a blue tooth pioneer deck, 4 brand new infinity speakers, two amps, two 10in sub wolfers behind the seats. Like I said this stereo sounds incredible.
I have two new door mirrors in the box that my daughter gave me last Christmas and I haven't installed them yet.
Because of the ridiculous offers that I have received from people I decided to pull my truck into the garage and fix some minor defects.
I started with removing all the vinyl lettering that was on the truck.
I buffed and waxed the entire exterior of the truck.
I touched up the chips here and there.
I detailed the shit out of the interior and I shampooed the carpets.
I also removed the glove box door and the mldgs that go around both interior door glass so I can paint them because of the chips they had on them.
I also have over one thousand dollars worth of parts for this truck that I was going to use to fix up the interior of this truck. I have two used black bucket seats that have seat belts in them, and all the other side of the seat belt parts for the other side of the seat belts, a brand new factory fit black rug for a 1956 Chevy truck, I have a center console, the original rug from the vehicle the seats came out of. I also have misc. new seals, rubber weather strips, bolts, screws and body bushings.
As you can see by the pictures and by the amount of money I have invested into my truck I will not be giving it away, so please don't ask me too.
I know a lot of people like these trucks and they are very desirable. I know someone out there is looking for a great 1956 Chevy truck to tinker around with and make it their own.
