For sale in our Gateway Classic Cars of Chicago Showroom is this 1987 Chevrolet Corvette with 86,800 actual miles! Bright Red paint on Flame Red interior is a great combination and draws a lot of stares. These 1987 Corvettes were instant classics when they came out and still draw a lot of attention on the roads. With a 5.7 L V8 under the hood paired to a 4 speed automatic transmission with overdrive these corvettes grip the road and are a blast to drive! Over the past 10,000 miles it has received a good amount of engine work resulting in a turn key ready to go Vette. At 77,567 on the odometer the trans, Axel, and Rear Differential were all serviced. It also received new Manifold gaskets, hoses, Serpentine belt, Heater control Assembly, Right and left door lock activators, and front and rear brake pads, rotors and rear clipers. Shortly after all this work it received a new Alternator. At 80,500 miles all 16 Valve seals were replaced. At 81,500 miles the master cylinder and brake booster were serviced. At about 85,000 miles a new flowmaster Force II exhaust system was put on, a new fuel pump and pulsator, and also new BF G Force Tires including the spare.
