I am listing a one family owned 1951 Chevy short box pickup.
The truck is one family owned since new. The truck has always been kept inside except when in use. The truck has 79909 original miles, the inside is factory original except for the seat cover, the steering wheel is near mint condition with it's original paint. All the gauges work proper , the lights work, the windows are clear with no cracks, or foggy edges. The doors are rust free and open and close perfect. The original cab corners are the rust free originals. all the body lines are straight, no accidents. The floor is solid as shown in pictures, the undercarriage is solid with no rot. The steering is tight, the king pins and all mother steering components are tight and work freely. The column shifter is tight and shifts smooth, with no grinding gears, or hang ups between gears. The motor starts on the first turn and runs and idles smooth with no smoke, or lifter noise, No overheating issues, or coolant leaks.This pickup was repainted in the early 1980's when it was handed down to the son and driven just under 1000 miles since that time. This is a very presentable old pickup that's been kept up and maintained over the years and kept in the family. Just an excellent running and driving old truck. The original matching #'s VIN plate has never been removed form the truck. The ignition key locks and unlocks the doors.
