FOR SALE - 1964 CHEVY SUBURBAN TWO-DOOR
I am selling my 1964 Suburban, which I have owned for 14 years. It is an excellent running and driving vehicle that is ready to cruise as-is. The drivetrain and suspension are basically new (5000 miles) and in excellent condition. Needs body and interior finishing to be complete.
DRIVETRAIN: 1991 F.I. 350 Chevy engine, less than 5K miles on rebuild. Edelbrock TBI intake, Comp Cams TBI cam, Holley 625 CFM thottle body, HPC coated headers, custom TBI chip, high volume fuel pump and dual electric fans. Motor is fully dressed, highly detailed and gorgeous. Rebuilt 700R4 overdrive transmission with chrome pan and Lokar floor shifter. 2 1/4" dual exhaust with Magnaflow mufflers. 1979 Pickup rear axle with 3:42 gears.
FRAME AND SUSPENSION: C-notched frame with all new body mounts. Oversize Chevy van gas tank. Air ride suspension on all four corners, upgraded to 1976 front suspension with tubular control arms and cross members. Urethane bushings & 1 1/4" Musclebar sway bar and KYB shocks.
STEERING AND BRAKES: Power brakes, disc in front, drums in rear; Lokar E-brake cables; power steering with tilt and telescoping column.
ACCESSORIES: Power windows, 6--way power driver seat, cruise control, air conditioning (upgraded to 134A), full VDO instrumentation.
INCLUDED IN SALE: Driver side lower front fender patch panel, both door bottom patch panels, front body mount patch, door seals, window felts, wing window seals, rear tailgate/hatch seals and bumpers, 2 stationary window seals, sliding rear window kit for two windows, body bumper kit, spare paintable grill, spare set of tailgate/hatch hinges. All glass and interior window trim included.
