Description
Take the remains of three old Dodges and two years of my time and you get a fully restored, reliable, easy to drive, head turning, surprisingly fast club rally car, promotional platform or hire to movie and TV industry car.
Chassis:- All worn pins, bushes, links replaced,
Motor:- Rebored, pistons, pins and bushes replaced, and all moving parts adjusted to factory specs.
Running gear:- All worn bearings replaced, all new seals.
Brakes bonded linings, New radiator core, five new tyres, tubes and rustbands, one piece laminated windscreen. In all a chassis up comprehensive mechanical restoration. The body is a sound and accurate recreation of a 20's C Cab light truck using construction ply, Victorian ash and pine for the deck. I have recreated what your Granddad would have done with the old obsolete family car at the end of the decade.
Issues:- Lower gears are noisy, wear in the clutch drive pins and the metal driven plates can cause noise at low loaded cruise speed. ( typical Dodge thing )
This car has been assessed and approved for club registration and has only running in miles done on my quiet property back roads. Choices have been left for you to do. The only modification is an electric fuel pump and an in line fuel pressure reducer.
I am reluctantly offering for sale because another project has been got and room and money is needed to progress. A bid up to what the component cost was will buy this car.
Payment to be cash or bank transfer. Pick up from me or I will supervise your arranged collection from Port Augusta.
