Well maintained mechanically. Runs Great.
I purchased this car in 2006. It had 65,043 miles on it.
I am the fourth owner of this classic car. The car was originally from West Virginia. The second owner was from Pennsylvania. He bought the car and eventually moved to Connecticut where he sold the car after 21 years of owning it. The car was restored in 1986 when it had only 58,000 miles. After the restoration, the car basically sat in the garage for years
The third owner often took the car to different car show around New England where it won several trophies. He sold the car to me to make room for other classic cars that he was restoring. The car had 65,043 original miles when I bought it in September of 2006.
The Mustang still has all the original body panels, floors and frame.
The 289 engine, which has matching numbers, was built, balanced and blueprinted by a machine shop that specializes in Shelby race motors. The car has all high-performance parts, original automatic transmission, which was also rebuilt. The interior is mostly original. The front seat covers were replaced before I got the car.
The Mustang has a Flow Master 40 series exhaust system and has a Holley 650 double pumper carburetor. The tires are 17x8 directional tires with American Racing Torque Thrust Wheels. The suspension is also all new.

IMPROVEMENTS I HAVE MADE since owning the car
Chrome Tail Pipes
Converted to Disc Brakes
Converted to Power Steering
New Windshield
Rear Seat Belts
Right Rear Window Crank
Automatic Choke Cable
Door Locks fixed – they didn’t work when I got the car

New radio and speakers – I thought the radio didn’t work, so I bought a new one. Turns out, it was the speakers. I still went ahead and put a new AM/FM radio along with speakers. I still have to original radio

New Headliner the first week of October 2018, because mice got into it during last winter. The gaskets haven’t seated well yet so the windshield leaks on one spot
