1965 Ford Mustang

1964 1/2 Mustang convertible. Built in Aug. 1964, but titled as a 1965. The 2nd owner of car had an auto repair business and he did the maintenance for the original owner. Second owner purchased the car in 1978 and he kept the car in storage and had it repainted and a new top, then put back in storage for an additional 18 years.Has all original interior, driver's seat has some seam separation; never had a radio installed. The car has 13" four lug wheels. All original 6 cyl. engine, never rebuilt; auto transmission. Transmission has new seals.I rebuilt front suspension; has new standard shocks on the front of car and air shocks on the rear with spring and shackle bushings on the rear. It has a new, remanufactured carburetor, new fuel pump, new starter, new alternator and a new voltage regulator.I installed an electronic ignition in the distributor; it has a new console, new glove compartment, and driver's door upper and lower hinges.The car is 99% original.
