Estate Sale : 1966 Mustang v8 auto 2 barrel
No i wont tell you what the reserve is , what would be the fun in that.. the reserve is fair market value of the car set by recent and past sales on ebay , locally , etc it fair
This is being listed for a Family members estate, All transactions will be with the estate. I will handle all questions and setup payments and pickup with the estate. We Have the clear title in the authorized party's name to ensure a smooth transaction.

Information about the car :
Garage kept for the last 20+ years
The car was purchased several years ago . the car was purchased from someone who did a light "driver style" restoration on the car .
The car has been sitting for 2 years I have done the following to get it ready for sale :
- I pumped out the tank and put in new fuel
- installed a new battery
- title reads 38072 car says 36197
- washed and light detailed body and interior
The Good:
The car starts idles nice she goes down the road shifts thru all the gears smoothly and get to speed and she stops.
That's as far as i drove it , I will not guarantee anything more then a local cruiser for the purpose of this sale.
The car was repainted the original candy red at sometime in her life(approx 20 years ago) . I was told sometime in the late 90's , she shines up nice , but has some chips and blemishes expected on cruiser . see pics
The interior is good condition . the rug looks new, the headliner is up , the door panels are in good shape . the dash pad is intact but wavy. the windows and locks work .
The car has had a new gas tank , exhaust,battery and radiator in the last 3 years.
The not so good:
The paint on the car is decent but has some chips and blemishes , she has an upding in hood and hood alignment issue near it ..ding in front valance behind plate , pealing paint driver door near latch , pealing paint near gas fillvisible damage is shown in attached pics see pics
It has had some rust repair at some point , new floor pans were riveted / welded in see pics
The bright work has seen is better days and could use re-plating
The power steering slight groan
crack in steering wheel
The gas gauge doesn't work.
Light Scratch's on driver door glass and passenger door glass
rivet heads can be seen below clear-coat behind rear tire on lower rear quarter, in the right light angle , i never noticed it the whole time i had the car until today.
Engine runs good and engine and transmission are for the most part dry but it looks like there is some seepage or drips. Nothing on my floor when its parked..from what I can tell the motors never been out of the car..
In closing :
This car was used as weekend cruiser until 2 years ago. the car looks and runs great . The estate and I just want it to go to a good home and be loved like she has been for so many years.
I have Listed everything I know about the vehicle. Again this is an (AS IS WHERE IS ) transaction. there will be no negotiating at the time of pickup. Inspection is encouraged.
