Howdy folks!
Up for your consideration is a rare, unmolested, two-owner 1968 Mustang GT with loads of options! My Father purchased this car in 1988 in El Paso, TX and used it as a daily driver while we lived there. After relocating back home to the Rio Grande Valley, he parked the car where it has remained stored indoors since 1991. We've done nothing to the car since '88 except provide normal maintenance and a good home. This car is as close to a barn find as you'll get without the spiders and rat nestsbetter yet, everything works on this car!
This car has almost every bell and whistle available in a Mustang in 1968 and the good news is that every option that's currently on the car is backed up by the Marti Report. Equipped with its original J-Code, 4bbl 302 engine, this car also sports the GT Equipment Group, C4 auto transmission and factory air conditioning. Additionally, the car is equipped with dual consoles (upper and lower), tilt away steering wheel, 8-track player (which still works!), the uber-rare low fuel sending unit and the highly-coveted Shelby gauges (140 mph speedo/8k tach). Dated CarLite glass all the way around, original FoMoCo lenses on every exterior light, and a completely original interior. Folks, it doesn't get much better than a clean, original, unmolested classic Mustang with documentation, provenance and full functionality.
As it sits currently, the car could use new exhaust and likely some new tires (this set was purchased in 1997). Depending on your classic car outlook, the car could use a paint job as well. The car shows well and has some nice patina but the non-original paint is currently far from show worthy. Or, show and drive as-is!
I have many, many more pictures of the car and can send them to interested parties as needed. The car is currently parked in my garage so I can get specific pictures and/or videos if so desired. We also welcome anyone that would like to see the car in person to stop on by for an inspection.
In summary, this is a clean example of a highly-optioned car in a rare color that is honest, solid and fully functional. Simply put, unmolested Mustangs like this are harder and harder to find these days. Clean, clear Texas Title in hand and the Marti Report will go with the car.

Shipping details - Buyer shall arrange all shipping details for the car. We're happy to facilitate as-needed, but please make all necessary arrangements to get the car safely to its destination. We have an enclosed trailer and some good pickup trucks so assistance with shipping can be negotiated as-needed. If the buy-it-now is used for purchase, we'll take the car anywhere in Texas for pickup free of charge.
