UPDATE TO MY ORIGINAL LISTING
I was going to wait until spring to relist this but I'm SO sick of seeing the Defender BS that's going on on Ebay, CL and FB Marketplace. WHY would you pay someone $25,000 for a piece of crap, un-restored, rusty ex-army Defender. Ive looked at so many of these trucks and most had frames that I couldn't believe were still road worthy.
This truck is not that way. Please don't just take my word for it, either come and take a look, or ask me for specific pictures. I'm not saying mine is perfect, but it is really nice and it is SOLID.
If your know Defenders, and you're interested, ask me questions. Id like to see this one go before winter, but if not it'll sit in my heated garage and will sell when the sun starts to shine again next year.
Here is the original add.

This is a very nicely refinished 1991 RHD Ex-MOD Defender 110. It is, for themost part, original with the exception of the paint and interior. Thetruck was legally imported into the US in 2016 and now has a NY title.

Frame is in very very good condition, no welds, no repairs. Bulkhead is good as well, no visible issues

The original 2.5NA motor was gone over by well respected Land Rovermechanic and several minor issues were sorted to make the truckcompletely reliable.

The body was professionally prepped and refinished, including new seriesstyle doors and tailgate, hinges, lock sets, and door and window seals. The exterior is finished in Land Rover Marine Blue, the interior flooris black Raptor Liner.

All seats were replaced with new Exmoor seating. A new Exmoor cubby boxwas installed, and a new Exmoor canvas top installed. The truck seats10.

Negatives:

A couple of chips in the paint
Minor fluid leaks
Definitely not a fast truck (55mph top speed).
No radio, and if it had one, you would never be able to hear it.

Positives:

Be prepared to get endless compliments. Truck draws people in every time we drove it.
Needs nothing as it sits, starts every time, shifts great, everything works as it should.

This is a right hand drive (RHD) truck and does not have power steering. When I bought it, those two things really had me concerned. Not justbecause I'm selling this one, but if you are seriously considering aDefender, don't rule out a truck just because its RHD. After about ayear of owning two of these trucks, I am completely use to RHD and youdon't really give it a second thought. The power steering thing was nota problem either, you just need to be a little more considerate attimes of where you park. Again, neither is a reason to overlook this orother Defenders.
I can help arrange shipping if need be.

I'm are selling because I purchased another Defender 110. I think the asking price is completely reasonable, considering the $30,000+ price beingasked for some of the other 110s 3 door trucks on the market, which are mostly basic, un-refinished rusty army trucks.
