2001 FREELANDER TD4 GS - 3 DOOR -
MANUAL - GREEN - TAXED & MOT'D - 136k
For Sale is my TD4 Manual Freelander. Priced at £1400ono, you'll struggle to find another for the price. Recently purchased a newer, smaller car so no longer need the Freelander.
Car is the sought after TD4 diesel, which is the much more reliable chain driven BMW engine. 3 door model has a removable roof, which is great for those warm sunny drives.
The car is currently 2WD as I had the prop-shaft removed to improve fuel economy during the summer, however the prop-shaft is included in the sale.
Car comes with a LONG MOT and TAX & regular service history, last serviced at 132k.
Car is HPI clear & as its a GS model it is fitted with Air-Con.
Good Points:
1. Interior is in excellent condition for age, including original Freelander car mats.
2. Super reliable TD4 BMW diesel engine.
3. Taxed until 09/14 & MOT until 02/15, passed last MOT with no advisories.
4. Regularly serviced, most recently at 132k.
5. Clear on HPI, not involved in any accidents or thefts.
6. Great drive with roof off in the sun.
Not So Good Points:
1. Expected exterior wear & tear, including key scratch on passenger side.
2. Intermittent squeaking from brakes (had them checked at garage & am assured its nothing).
3. Drivers door does not unlock with remote (however will lock with remote).
4. Ignition is loose from wear (again assured it is nothing).
Sold as Seen, the Freelander is a good run-around, with decent fuel economy at a good price.
