Description

1977 Lincoln Mark V. Fully loaded with leather, sunroof, turbine wheels, dealer option am/fm 8-track cb radio. 460 ci with 4 barrel carburetor. Just under 42,000 original miles. All original except tires and battery. Runs and drives very well. Needs nothing to be enjoyed. Very good driver quality collectible. Needs little reconditioning to be excellent. A/C converted to 134, blows cold, works well. Carburetor professionally rebuilt, fuel pump recently replaced. Plugs, cap, rotor and wires were replaced but I put the originals in the trunk. Tires are like new. No rust except some small bubbles along the back edge of the vinyl top (see pictures). Always a dry southwest car. Steel under vinyl top feels solid. Vinyl top in nice condition. Everything works except: the fuel gauge, power antenna, passenger seat and clock. No cracks in dash or door panels. Leather was a bit dry but has been conditioned, there are no cracks or splits all the way through. Windows and sunroof work well. Weather stripping is all good except around sun roof. Chrome and stainless all excellent. Glass is all good except drivers side window has some vertical scratches, common here in the dusty southwest. Engine starts and runs well, super smooth on the highway, a pleasure to drive, no serious leaks. Headlight covers stay down for about a month, an indication of good vacuum. This car has never been torn apart or modified or monkied with. Comes with a spare gauge cluster I picked up to fix the gas gauge and clock. Mileage subject to go up as I drive this car around on the weekend. Inspection invited and encouraged. I have tried to be as honest about this car as possible, this is not a perfect car but very good and priced accordingly. Deposit of $500 due within 48 hours of auction close via PayPal. Balance due in cash or bank transfer within 7 days of auction close. I can hold the car garaged for up to 30 days if paid in full. I am happy to work with shippers to get it loaded but provide no shipping service. Please email any questions you may have.
