1957 Lincoln Premiere two door hardtop. Stunning rare car in original condition. V8 Auto and painted in the original rare Honeycomb colour. Original interior. Excellent throughout, beautiful chrome, mechanically A1 and drives great. Even with the original conventional tyres. Twin stainless steel exhaust. Electric seats,windows and vent windows. Power steering and power antenna. Rare car in Australia and what a head turner. Overall very good, original with some minor blemishes but again stunning to look at. Drive anywhere car. No worries. Want to stand out. Be Individual and different. Its Summer what a car to own..In saying that the car has not been out a lot in the past 4 years apx I have owned it but blows people away when I do. I bought it from a guy in the States who told me it was a trophy car over there whenever he entered it so I did the same here with one show only I entered it in and won one trophy. Best Original,Its that sort of a car, dont see them everywhere.
THIS IS A NO RESERVE AUCTIONThe 1957 Lincoln was an updated version of the all-new 1956 model, which itself was inspired by Ford's 1955 Futura show car.
For 1957, Lincoln sprouted blade-like rear fins and a novel Quadra-like headlamp system that featured regular lights plus smaller 'road' lights operated via a separate switch. The Quadra-Like system was Lincoln's response to several state legislatures which were threatening in 1956 to block the industry-wide adoption of quad headlamp systems.
The 1957 Lincoln Premiere featured a 368 cubic-inch, 300 horsepower V8. Standard safety features included a new padded dash, 'deep-dish' steering wheel and reinforced door latches. Safety belts were optional but I have put some in this.
Please feel free to ask any questions and I will try to be as honest as possible. I have all the Import Papers and there's no Finance on the car It is original in very good condition but again has some minor imperfections around her.
