Hi, I'm selling my 2007 locost.
I have had the car for around 2 years now and after a lot of work and money and have to sell due to moving to a new house without a garage. I have stripped and rebuilt this car to a quality standard as I hope the pictures show! I have spent hundreds of hours to get it to a top standard. Im a hgv technician by trade.The car itself wad made from was 1980 mk5 cortina. Which I have documentation like a bible to prove! It has about 130bhp and the car only weighs around 650kg! The car is fast, handles well and brakes even better
It has/spec:
2 litre ford pinto with twin rebuilt 40 dellorto carbs and a high lift cam shaft
Tubular exhaust with heat wrapping
T9 gearbox
Brand new Gaz coil overs all round
Brand new front brakes, split m16 calipers with mintex fast road/racing pads and drilled/grooved/vented discs
Twin master cylinders
Brand new front toyo racing tyres
All new cables
New fuel sender unit
New cam belt and full service including leads
Nearly new alternator, starter, coil and electronic ignition system.
Rear tyres are very good condition
Smiths classic dials (all working correctly)
Radiator has been checked and soldered/reinforced
