Description

Selling my 1965 Oldsmobile Jetstar 88.I bought this car with plans of turning it into a pro-touring vehicle, but I am not going to be able to finishing it. The car is in a perfect place to be able to finish it as an original restoration, or continue with a more custom option, as I was going to do. I have already taken care of all body work, including primer.I had a local car audio company install sound deadening throughout the car.I also was planning on installing a really nice audio system, with a custom made trunk enclosure, so I have all of that available as well, which is custom molded out of fiberglass (I have pictures I can send). All of those pieces have been prepped and are ready for paint as well. I have all parts and pieces to completely assemble, and finish, this car. I have a completely reconditioned interior, with new carpet and backing. I have all new rubber parts for the entire vehicle. ALL chrome has been repaired and re-plated, all stainless has been hand polished, interior parts (including headliner) have been replaced and even the dash was sent off to California and re-covered with new vinyl. This car did not have factory air, as it had an aftermarket beast of a unit that mounted to the bottom of the dash. I found, and restored, an original dash, with A/C and even re-chromed all the ball vents. I bought a new Vintage Air system, which I was going to use, and would be happy to discuss including that, if wanted. I have all accessories, including new head lights, original clock, original radio, all interior screws (new) and many other items. I tried to take care of absolutely everything that would be needed, since some of the parts are very rare and hard to find. I even bought a kit, from Scarebird, which will give the car disc brakes in the front, and I have all the parts for this, including rotors, pads, booster, etc. There is so much that I have, and have done, that I cannot possibly list it all in this ad. For this ad, I am selling the car, and all the original parts (new and old) that would belong to the car as a factory setup. All the aftermarket equipment, including another motor (new 454HO crate motor), tranny (rebuilt 700R4), new Holley Street Avenger 770cfm carb, aluminum Griffin 2 core racing radiator, stereo system, air suspension, etc., I am selling separately. This would be a great project for someone to quickly finish, as all it needs is the paint (car is now in primer gray) of your choice and assembly. This is a great opportunity for someone to save a ton of headaches and a ton of money. Thanks for looking and God Bless!
