HURST OLDS #356 on the Hurst Olds RegistryNUMBER MATCHING 455 400 Auto AC PS PDBrakes original GtVNMVsfVcQAccording to Oldsmobile's records show that 906 Hurst/Olds produced in 1969. with less than 1000 total vehicles being produced the 1969 Hurst Olds had Fire frost Gold and Cameo White color combination; its amazing hood scoops that could get anyone's attention and was the car that was dubbed the "Hairiest Oldsmobile" by Motor Trend Magazine was a "RARE Beast" even back in 1969 when it was built!"Snarls softly and carries a BIG stick"that is the experience the 455CI Hurst Olds promised in 1969. Jack "Doc" Watson made sure that the signature "Hurst Gold" on Cameo Whitedual English racing mirrors hand applied black pin striping die cast Hurst/Olds emblems and gold trimmed interior was more than just a pretty appearance package. The dual-snorkel fresh air system forced air down the gullet of the 455. D code W-30 heads cam and distributor made sure the mixture of fuel and forced air made an explosive 380 hp and 500 pound-feet of torque. A performance modified Turbo Hyra-matic is shifted by a dual-gate Hurst shifter. Heavy duty suspension power front disc brakes and even the giant decklid spoiler rounded out the performance package. The rear air foil holds the backend to the road creating 15lbs of down force at 60 mph and 64 pounds at 120 mph. In the end "Doc" Watson got his way. The popularity of the Hurst/Olds 455 ended the GM imposed 400 CI displacement limit ended in 1970 paving the way for the W (for Watson) -30.Vehicle DescriptionThis 1969 Hurst Edition Olds. A new retro AM/FM radio is in place and working. the interior dome lights are working. Factory original Hurst HO dual gate shifter is in place a perfectly working. The factory A/C is another rare option and works like new. The Attention to detail is evident through out this Amazing Muscle Car. ITIS MAGNIFICENT. The Hurst/Olds returned for the 1969 model year. The biggest change was the switch from the silver and black paint scheme of '68 to a new Firefrost gold on white paint scheme. This would be the primary paint scheme for many Hurst/Olds models of later years. Instead of the dual ram air scoops under the front bumper that was used in '68 and other ram air '69s the H/O received a functional "mailbox" fiberglass hood scoop with H/O 455 on each side. A spoiler was mounted on the trunk and the car sat on unique 15x7 chrome SSII rims with Goodyear F60x15 Polyglas tires. The exterior was finished off with a pair of English racing mirrors H/O emblems on the front fenders and deck lid blacked out 442 grilles and black hand-applied pinstripes. All of the '68 and '69 H/Os were pinstriped by one person. Interior modifications included a different wood veneer on the mini-console painted gold stripes on the headrests and a Hurst/Olds emblem on the glove-box door. The non-drive train modifications were again done at Demmer Engineering. Approximately 913 cars were built including 2 convertibles for Hurst promotional use one for East coast events and one for West coast events(a third was built after one of the original two was destroyed). The 455 cubic-inch Rocket V8 (W46) was rated at 380 horsepower (280 kW) and 500 lb/ft of torque. This is the same engine as A/C equipped 68 Hurst Olds' and provided better drivability. The same engine was used for both A/C and non-A/C cars. The engine received a unique intake manifold chrome steel valve covers and a special vacuum operated air cleaner lid to allow cold air from the hood scoop into the carburetor. This was backed up by a specially calibrated code OH Turbo 400 transmission and 3.42 gears for non-A/C cars or 3.08 gears for cars with A/C. Optional 3.91 gears were available only for non-A/C Hwy 70 Wilson Ok 73463Fred Murfin 888-577-7952National Shipping: ASAP Transportation Ethan Kearns  888-577-7952Local shippers:Nina & Greg 888-577-7952Inspection: Samuel Mallow has   888-577-7952Finance: Taylor Allen $85000Fred Murfin 888-577-7952 Visit Red Line Muscle Cars online at to see more pictures of this vehicle or call us at 888-577-7952 today to schedule your test drive.
