Description

Here we have a very nice GTO, in Gulf Stream Aqua, inside and out. I'm listing this for a friend that is looking to thin out his collection. He's owned this car for 27 years. It has always been garaged and only used for shows and to exercise it. When he bought the car it was repainted, and it has held up quite well after all this time. The white top is decent and usable, but by no means perfect. You can get in this car and ride off into the sunset, needs nothing and it has always been impeccably maintained. Here's what I know about the car:
75% UnRestored - 100% Correct!Original Order Slip (dated Jan. 1964)Original Window Sticker (dated Aug. 1964)Original ProtectoplateOriginal Owners ManualOriginal RegistrationFull PHS DocumentationFeatured in Thomas DeMauro's Restoration GuideOriginal 389 Matching Numbers Engine

I realize there's not many pictures provided, and the quality could always be better. That's why it's incumbent on potential buyers to Please Ask Questions. We really encourage anyone interested to come look at the car. Of course this for the most part is easier said than done. Please do not bid unless you are absolutely confident that you will be happy with your purchase. I will make every possible effort to make it so.
I asked my friend about what's the undercarriage like, and if there has been any panel replacements, or patching done. He assures me that there has been no rework of this type. However, I cannot guarantee this. I also cannot guarantee that there's no collision or other body repairs, as well if there's any plastic filler applied. That's why I emphasize buyer inspection.
Upon sale deposit the buyer will have (1) week to inspect, or have the vehicle inspected by themselves, or agent. We will supply a lift for undercarriage inspection. Inspection will be by appointment only.
Terms of Sale:
Paypal non-refundable deposit of $500.00 required. This will be waived if buyer inspects the vehicle and isn't satified with the condition of vehicle, or feels that it's been misrepresented. Buyer has (1) week to inspect vehicle. Should the buyer fail to inspect, deposit will be forfeited and sale is null and void.
Final Payment: Bank Cashiers Check, within (1) week. We check with bank to confirm it is real. This could take up to (1) week. After funds are verified buyer will have (2) weeks to pickup vehicle.
Signed title and bill of sale will be sent overnight, FEDEX, upon clearance of funds.
Buyer has a right of inspection by self or agent and if buyer does not choose to avail self of inspection, then buyer agrees to sale.
Buyer pays, and arranges for shipping, but car does not get picked up until funds are cleared in sellers account. We will make every, reasonable effort to assist buyer to accommodate buyer in this process.
NO Warranty. Final Sale As Is. Where Is.

Another thing I would like to address is the topic of my (1) Negative Feedback score. Unfortunately, there are some unscrupulous folks on ebay. Scammers, if you will. In one instance one of these Scammers found me, and I did everything that I could possibly do to make the deal right, to no avail. Here is a link of my (and others) experience with this individual (so beware!):
