1977 Porsche 911 --

This is, I believe, a rare 911. It is a 1977 911S numbers matching car with 72k miles on it. It has wider rear flares from the factory, It is not turbo flares but wider than most 1977 911's. Supposedly they made a very limited number of these cars like this. It has the original 2.7 liter engine. It has factory ricaro seats that have pasliy inserts which is interesting as well. Apparently these seats were an option. It also has an original factory whale tail. It has a Carrera emblem on the rear deck lid. They did make Carreras in 77 but they had 3.0 liter engines. this one has the 2.7 as it should according to the vin number. So it is like a factory Carrera look from the factory I think?Sort of like the turbo look cars they made in the 80's It has chrome fuchs on it that are period correct. It is in very good condition. The engine is strong and runs excellent and has been matained properly. I'm not sure of the history of major service of this engine but I was told by the pervious owner that it has had all the proper services that these 2.7 engines need. The car drives great and looks good. The clutch is great, it shifts good. No issues. The paint is decent as it has been repainted. This car looks really good but it could really use to be repainted expertly. It has a dent in the rear quarter above the tail light on the right side but it is very minor. There are NO rust issues with this car at all. New paint would really increase the value of this car. As you know these cars are appreciating rapidly, and a good paint job and refreshing of the interior not replacing just cleaning and sprucing it up could and would send the value of this car through the roof. I think they made about 3000 911's in 1977 and this Carrera look I have no idea how many they made, but it wasn't many. Maybe you Porsche enthusiast's will know how to get more info on the history of this car. I have had about 7 of these air cooled 911's and I had planned on keeping this one but I have fallen in love with the new ones (after 2005 997's) and I plan one getting one after I sell this one. Or maybe someone has one they want to trade. Anyway please ask questions before the end of the auction A$500 nonrefundable deposit is required and if you live outside the US please know what you are doing and be ready to pay.
this really is a nice driver and could be great collector car.
