Description

This Porsche is very nice. Not junk! Drives like a dream and has great looks to back it up. You will not be disappointed! Don't let the prior damage worry you. Must be paid for in full within 3 business days, no exceptions.
***The car successfully "sold" on here twice, only to have both "buyers" be flakes. One was a legit CEO of a large company in CA that was "just too busy to get to the bank to wire the funds" and after a week of waiting (plus I required full payment within 3 business days) I filed a non-paying bidder complaint against him and moved on. The second was from Germany, and the following day asked if I'd take less since he had to pay for shipping overseas. Againgames, and I filed yet once again a non-paying bidder claim. I'm telling you this for two reasons: First, that I take this seriously and don't appreciate bidders that have no intention of following thru with the purchase and Second, that nobody has even looked at or driven the car. I'm sure as a potential buyer looking on here and seeing it listed several times back to back over several weeks raises concern, but again it's only because of the B.S. that is allowed to go on here with literally no repercussion to the bidders ruining auctions and costing sellers more money over and over. I know I'm not alone with this complaint! Of course eBay doesn't mind because they get their fees over and over and over.
I want to add the car has been titled, registered, tagged and insured in my name since earlier this year. The title states salvage-non removable so that it can't be issued a clean title in the future. The car has been professionally repaired and 100% road worthy, in fact I just returned from a 2,000+ mile round trip a few weeks ago. This is a great car and a great value!
My original listing:
I hate doing this but I have decided to sell my 2007 Porsche Cayman. I have loved this car and even though it has a salvage/rebuilt history, it was repaired well and is a blast to drive. From what I can tell the car was hit in the driver's side rear fender. That area was repaired and there was no structural damage that I can tell. Gaps are very good. The car tracks well, and there are no rattles, vibrations, or weird noises. Very tight car! After all, it IS a Porsche! The silver paint looks great, but does have a few minor blemishes from being 10 years old and driven. There are some tiny chips on the hood from highway driving. The paint shines well. The interior is very clean, with very minor wear on the driver's seat. I replaced the AC control head unit to get rid of the scratched (very common on these) fan and temp buttons. I also had the center console painted silver to match the inner door handles (looks sharp). AC blows ice cold, all gauges and switches work. The driver's side power seat memory wasn't working (not sure if the memory switch is bad or simply not connected after work was done on car) so I merely set the seat where I liked it and pulled the fuse. Seat heater still works, I just can't adjust its position on the fly. Not a huge deal, especially if no one else is going to be driving your car. Power windows have express up and down feature. Front and rear trunks are very clean. Dash has no cracking. Cruise control works. Brakes are excellent. Cross drilled slotted rotors. Tires are newer. I had the rims painted to replicate vintage Fuch's with satin silver paddles and lips, with satin black webbing. They are virtually like new. At the same time I added the Porsche graphics and had the mirrors, front fog light housings, lower front spoiler lip, rear spoiler, rear diffusers, and side stripes painted also in satin black to replicate the look of the Cayman R. I also had the calipers painted red with Porsche graphics. The car has a custom SpeedArt exhaust and sounds much better than stock. The engine runs very well and there are no IMS bearing issues. Tranny shifts crisply and performs beautifully either in automatic or manual modes. Engine is dry and does not leak any oil. I just had the oil changed with Mobil One full synthetic. I also just had 4 new TPMS sensors installed, and tires high speed balanced. New wiper blades. No warning lights are on. All do properly light up as designed when key is first inserted for "test mode".
This car looks and drives excellent, and will not disappoint. I have set a fair price considering the custom work I have done to the car, recent service, prior history and mileage. It's a really nice car. I only have one key, and no books. Please ask any and all questions prior to clicking the Buy It Now button. Zero feedback bidders MUST contact me PRIOR to bidding or your bid will be CANCELLED. I have had too many bad experiences with non paying winners just playing games in the past. Please only bid if you are a serious buyer and have the funds readily available. I have the car advertised in other places so the auction may end at any time. Don't miss out on this beautiful Cayman! Clear title in hand. A $500 PayPal deposit must be paid immediately following the end of the auction, and remaining balance wired to my bank within 3 business days. No exceptions. Thanks for looking and happy bidding.
