A ROADRUNNER SR1 - road legal formula ford / F1 / Formula One style single seater “race car for the road”. Track Day car to beat all others not only on value for money but also on looks and excitement. As this is a road legal car it turns heads like nothing you could imagine! It is some serious fun driving this around the ultimate big boys toy.
It’s a very, very limited production run and much sort after car that is no longer being made bywho now produce more “Caterham or Lotus 7 style cars. The good news is the company is still around for support or parts should you need them. It’s got the powerful and much sought after stage 1, 190+hp Yamaha R1 bike engine and sequential gear box so the power delivery is immense and changes slick.
Full disks all around which stop it on a penny. All the wings are custom carbon fiber and look stunning and give superior down-force (they are not just for show). It’s extremely light at just 380kg (!!) and at 500 bhp / tonne will beat most cars worth 100x this price. The 0-100 kph (0-62 mph) is 3.2 seconds and the engine revs to 13,500 rpm - it screams like and F1 car and handles like it’s on rails.
It has a removable race steering wheel, battery cut off switch, fully uprated rear wing and extension, full 5 point race harness, one off carbon seat, custom carbon coated exhaust, performance air intake, lightweight racing alloys with nearly new tyres all round and only a couple of thousand miles since the build.This car is basically as newly run in and ready to be enjoyed. Just serviced, will come with full MoT and can be taxed if required at extra cost. Cheap insurance at just £180 per year (I’m in my 30’s). This car is a top spec SR1 and not to be confused with any cheaper ones sold back in 2009! This car cost 0ver £30k to build and is just basically run in. A huge file comes with the car with build details and documents e.t.c.
