Description

Crashed - 1965 Shelby Cobra Superformance MKIII 20th Anniversary Edition. Car #19 of 20 produced.
Rolled it off the trailer from being delivered brand new from Superformance, and hit a tree after traveling about 50 feet. The frame is bent and there is excessive front end damage. Left front control arms and spindle are broken, left front wheel is bent, radiator and power steering pump damaged, tie rods and various mounts damaged. The motor appears undamaged and turns by hand. We have yet to try to start it. Driver side door hinge and truck hinges are bent, front windshield and rear view and side view mirrors are broken. Steering wheel and column is bent. I am sure there are other issues as well.
The hood appears fine, the body from the windshield back appears undamaged.
The total cost for the car was more than $130,000. If you are up for a lot of work, the car is amazing. The car is located in Irvine, CA.
Title is in my fathers name but it is now the property of the trust. Transfer of title is more complicated but it only take about 30 minutes at Auto Club. I have the pink slip and the registration.

The engine is the Corvette Z06, supercharged LT4 6.2L SC. The most powerful engine ever offered in a regular-production Chevrolet. Details below.
Description of the Engine:
SUPERCHARGED POWER FROM THE C7 CORVETTE Z06!
As the heart of the Corvette Z06, the supercharged LT4 6.2L SC
is the most powerful engine ever offered in a regular-production
Chevrolet. It features a more-efficient, more-compact 1.7L Eaton
R1740 TVS supercharger, which spins at up to 20,000 rpm.
That’s enough to generate more than 9 pounds of boost and help
produce 650 horsepower and 650 lb.-ft. of torque. The LT4 is
based on the same Gen V Small-Block architecture as the LT1
engine, with several unique features designed to support its
higher output and the greater cylinder pressures created by
forced induction. They include Rotocast A356T6 aluminum
cylinder heads that are stronger and handle heat better than
conventional castings, lightweight titanium intake valves and
stronger forged aluminum pistons.
