1970 FJ40-4th owner 1st sold to brother; widow of 2nd sold to neighbor who restored FJs - he used as a daily (repainted, new exhaust), but sold this to fund other FJs he was restoring
-Nonsmoker
-driver seat, front bench, rear side benches; removable top, heater, 3 speed, original jack, BF A/T tires (5) good cond
-heater, lights, wipers functional
-Upgrades: ARM front bumper; WARN wench; disc brakes; tune up; fully detailed/engine steam cleaned; side mirrors, underbody degreased, new starter, steering adjusted to make easier, belt retainer added, have had one 30+ yr mechanic that knows FJs - inspected front to rear
-Needs: roof liner, speedometer needle
A great FJ. Hard to match this one. Could be a daily and survive a war. Great in snow. Draws waves, thumbs, and offers frequently. Hate to give up - and have fought as long as I could - but simply don’t get to drive as much as I want. Have tried to capture as much as I can in pics.
