1969 Toyota FJ-40 Land Cruiser
Was stripped down to the bare frame and built from the ground up to be a capable rock crawler to handle any time of off-road terrain.

Front and Rear section of frame removed and built around linked suspension. Center section of original box frame is stitch welded. Completely boxed frame and cross-members.
Rear ¼ panels replaced with ⅜" BudBuilt weld-in replacements
Integrated 1/4 " wall square tubing rockers
Any rust was cut out and replaced with beefy steel. Nearly a full body off restoration. Body was completely stripped before paint.
Tube front fenders, raised for added clearance
Rear fender wells removed and re-welded up higher for added clearance
Bedlined interior for easy cleanup
Full 6 Point roll cage tied into frame using DOM tubing, with integrated seat mounts
PRP suspension racing seats, with PRP 5 point harnesses
SpeedHut gauges, including GPS speedometer
Warn 8k winch with remote switches in center console and synthetic line
Fully rewired, with all wire in protective fire protective loom
17" Steel beadlock wheels
40" Goodyear MTR's
All components are from RuffStuff, TMR Customs, Artec, Barnes 4wd, etc.
This is one of those builds where everything used was the best of the best, high end, proven components. No expense was spared.
Now that it's complete, I don't have the time to use it like it is intended and I'm looking for the next project.
It is titled and plated in AZ, street legal. It drives great on the road but it is a rock crawler first.
