1978 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40

Extra Clean 1978 Toyota FJ40 with the original 2F 6 cylinder engine and 4 speed transmission. One of the best 4x4's ever built these vehicles are gaining incredible value and are becoming true classics. I drove it for a year and I'm ready to pass it on to the next owner. The vehicle really is a head turner and a great conversation starter. Restoration was done a little bit over a year ago by the previous owner using genuine Toyota parts, including new ati-corrosive nuts and bolts for the cabin, new emblems, turn signals, headlights, hoodornaments, a brand new snorkel was installed along with an aftermarket AC, Rancho shocks and a set of 5 brand new Firestone tires. (Tires have less than 2K miles on them). The body and axles wereremoved and the chassis was completely sandblasted,primed, sealedand painted gloss black. The body has been stripped,primed, sealed, fixingall body details and thenpainted with the original Rustic Green color (Color Code 621). Interior was also re-done with high quality vinyl, and a new headliner. Seats and bench on the back are in perfect condition and they look 100% original. It is a great vehicle for daily driving, weekend drives and/or collectors.FJ40's are long lasting, very reliable and basically unbreakable machines that get you anywhere. This one is a very nice example with some minor defects on the cabin that can be easily fix. I will be happy to email you additional images and allow a pre-purchase inspection.
