Description
-All Original 1970 GT6+ / Mk2 . with only 25,444 miles!!! Engine: 2000cc inline 6 cyl with dual carbs. Transmission: 4 speed manual. Interior: Black seats/carpet, white headliner, wood dash, original spare tire. Exterior: Green paint, chrome bumpers.
-This car was bought brand new by my dad in 1970. Original owner! It sat covered in our garage since 1985. Now time to let go. That's the last time its been on the road.
-The good: Frame, floor pans, doors, glass, bonnet, trunk and body are solid! Most everything on this car is there and original including: engine, transmission, interior, exterior, exhaust, brakes, tires, etc windows/doors/vents operate fine. It starts, runs, moves. Comes with original owners manual, bill of sale, repair book and keys.
-The bad: Interior needs some work, some of the paint is cracked, body has few dents/dings, side mirror is loose, etc
-Its old and gonna have some issues, but well worth the money for rebuild OR fix few items and drive the way it is. This will definitely get more looks the way it is at a car show rather than full rebuild. Won't take much to make road worthy.
-This specific model is very rare..(gt6+/mk2) only made for 2 years. And only 12,000 were built during that time frame.
-This was last registered in 1985 with NY tags. At the time of this listing, we are still looking for the title/registration. If it sells before I find docs, then it will come with NYS BILL OF SALE only! And will mail any found docs after purchase. Ask any and all questions before bidding. Don't bid if your not sure, your wife didn't approve yet, you don't have any $$$, etc Bid with confidence (look at my feedback).
-Buyer is responsible for all shipping arrangements/local pickup. But I am willing to trailer/deliver it within reasonable distance from 14067 for added fee. Winning buyer will pay CASH or CERTIFIED BANK/CASHIERS CHECK. No paypal or personal checks
