Offered for sale is a 1959 Triumph TR 3A VIN # TS41279L. Restored. Signal Red. Excellent condition. Same owner 20 years. Literally everything rebuilt, restored, refreshed. Frame on. All receipts. Greenwich Concourse 2 appearances. Fairfield County concourse 2 appearances. Scarsdale Concourse 2012 Best British Car. Same owner 20 years. Work done by top CT shops - Automotive Restoration, Vintage Machine Works and Triumph TR 3 specialist Dave Pettigrew of Monroe , CT. Loaded with options. Wire wheels, radial tires, Koni shocks, steel hood slots, oil cooler, aluminum radiator, cooling fan, ceramic coated exhaust manifold, electric starter, converted to negative ground, electronic ignition, pertronix coil, heater, Moto Lita steering wheel, AMCO genuine wood shift knob, Chrome parking brake release handle, wind wings, wood inlay in glove box from Rolls Royce, AM-FM CD player with USB port, 4 speakers, carpeted trunk, seat belts, original luggage rack, tonneau cover, convertible top cover - custom fitted, side curtains, top perfect, wind wings, 2 red fleece blankets with "triumph" sown in. Signal red paint by award winner Roger Ferris. Rebuilt Gearbox is original. No overdrive. Motor is a TR4 rebuilt by Dave Pettigrew of Monroe , CT. New clutch, brakes, suspension, hydraulics, wiring harness etc. Electric fuel pump. Took years to develop and get to this point of streetability. Odometer shows 38500 miles. Not accurate as car is 50 years old. I have driven it about 10,000 miles in 20 years. Car is located in Litchfield County, Connecticut. You will not find a better sorted / looking Triumph TR3 in the North East. Flaws are TR4 Motor and underside (undercoated ) could be cleaner. Not cheap - but worth it. Over $80k spent. Extensive road testing and over $8,000 spent on a refresh by Automotive Restorations in 2016.
