Description

1964 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia
This is a very fresh nut & bolt, body off, professionally restored Ghia, with mild customizations to give it a very cool California Custom look. To include, modifications to the front fenders enabling the classic Porsche (Type 1) headlamp assemblies. Also, a narrowed front bus beam, new fox shocks, 4-wheel disc brakes and Porsche Fuchs Wheels, which give the car a very nice stance; however not too low, takes speed bumps with no issue. A brand new 1,835cc crate engine built by GEX International (about 400 miles on it), again, professionally installed along with built transmission, new clutch, transaxle, electronic ignition, dual Empi carburetors, and brand new, custom and ceramic coated, headers and exhaust.
The body is in excellent shape and the paint is very good, overall I would give it a 9 out of 10. All electronics, gauges and lights work. This Ghia is extremely clean, very organized throughout with exceptional detail, well maintained and always garaged with cover. Clear CA title is in hand. The car is solid and can be a daily driver, and also nice enough for any car show.
The car belongs to my brother and I, we no longer have the ability to store it, so we have decided to sell. Again, this is a complete restoration, turn-key classic car, all it needs is a new home and someone to drive & enjoy.
