BMW E46 2.8i 3 Series Touring
Here we have our BMW 3 series, Mot until 04/08/2014 tax until 31/07/2014
Service history upto 120961miles
2.8i (petrol) Automatic. Averages around 30-35mpg
As you can see from the pictures it has full leather interior in cream/ beige, could definitely benefit from a good valet inside and out, unfortunately car cleaning isn't my forte. The alloy wheels are genuine BMW 18 inch staggered (the rear wheels are wider than the fronts) this was confirmed by a tyre fitter. They are not immaculate and could benefit from a tidy up but this never concerned me.
There are the usual signs of rust appearing around the arches, not uncommon for the E46 and only to be expected due to the cars age. There is a scrape at the front, please see pictures. I had intended on having these imperfections repaired but never got round to it. There are also the odd age related marks,stone chips etc.
The front tyre has worn on the inner shoulder, Im led to believe by a local mechanic that the cause is possibly a worn track rod end as there is a wheel wobble from the front, gets worse at around 55/60mph,this can be felt through the steering wheel, please note this is not a confirmed diagnosis.
All in all its a lovely looking car, just look at the pictures. The car sounds great. The car runs well, it does not miss a beat, no overheating.It drives well apart from the above mentioned fault. Will be sorry to see it go. Only selling as we have too many cars. With a good valet and tidy up it would be even better. The car is being sold strictly sold as seen in the pictures.
