Description

I'm selling my superb BMW 530d tourer. Its a real shame but a change in circumstances is forcing my hand.I've had her since June 2013 and can't fault her at all. I've owned many cars over the years. This was my first "luxury" brand and is definitely the nicest on all accounts.
I spent quite a while choosing this particular car and model. I bought her to pull a twin axle caravan on holidays and had a top-of-the-range Witter removable tow bar fitted with twin electrics. MUCH better than the fixed ones. You get the classic BMW lines with the ability to pull almost anything you care to. Perfect.
I've also had a new clutch put in just after I bought her.
The Drive
The drive is totally smooth, the gear changes are like silk. There are no knocks bangs, wheezes or other odd sounds. Acceleration is beautiful as is braking. I had the wheels balanced last year. The ABS kicks in smoothly.
All electrics work as they should. Windows power up and down without hesitation.
The Idrive functions as well as it should. No dead pixels.
I had a new 110ah bettery installed last year.
Bodywork
There is no rust at that I've been able to find. Paintwork is good for age. i recently had the bumpers resprayed and they look factory fresh. Respray was for no other reason than they were looking a bit tatty and really did the car no justice at all.
As you can see from the photos there are some minor paint blemishes from car doors being knocked into the panels. None of these are particularly noticeable.
Interior
Ni rips and everything as you'd expect for a vehicle of this age. Boot opens and closes as it should as does the boot roller.
There are some minor cons.
Drivers seat has some usage marks but no rips or other damage.
Rear seat has got a glue like residue mark. The photos make it stand out more than it actually does. No one sitting in the back has ever mentioned it.
The interior door sills have become corroded. They could do with a replacement. Very easy to do will cost between £20-£50 depending on where you source them. Its a very simple snap on snap off job.
Servicing
I've kept up with all the servicing requirements on the on-board servicing schedule. Next one is the micro filters in a few 1000 miles.
As noted the car is Taxed and Tested. Its still on the old Tax system so you'll get until August you lucky ebayer you!
She went through her MOT just fine. One advisory was noted. "Wear to inner bushes but not resulting to any play". This wasn't deemed by a garage later to be a problem and advised to leave it.
There is a lot of history dating back to when she was new.
You will not be disappointed in this BMW. She is a superb drive and will continue to be so for a long time.
This car is advertised elsewhere so reserve the right to pull the advert.
No silly offers please and if you are just there to kick tyres and mutter about realistic prices please don't bother. Anybody with an eye for quality knows I'm selling at a good price.
As noted elsewhere I'll accept cash on collection or Bankers Draft and then only on receipt of funds.
