Welcome to the reluctant sale of our BMW Z4 2.5i sport. We have owned the car for 1.5 years and have enjoyed it very much. The current mileage is 86200 but this may go up slightly as we use it sometimes to cheer ourselves up. The car has been great to us and I would keep it although my partner has started Uni. and I have a more suitable vehicle to tow my Jet Ski.
The car is a fantastic sounding machine (straight 6 engine) and looks super sexy with the roof down (or up) when we first bought it I was worried about fuel consumtion but was soon put at ease as it's not too bad at all!. Depending on how much you like hitting the sport button.
We have spent aprox 1000 on it in the time we've owned it. The work carried out was servicing, new discs and pads (on all 4) new locking modules and a bush, i believe. We have paper work to verify the work completed.
For its year the mileage is very very reasonable and other models this year are going for a decent amount more. I'll be happy to answer any questions and will gladly take you out for a test drive (providing you have insurance)
The asking price is £3600 and I will not budge on this price and i'm in no rush to sell it.
The following details are the not so good points.
Few advisories on last MOT chips in windscreen and a slight oil leak (this was checked out later by MVT BMW specialists in Poole, he confirmed it was an old Gasket and it's a common problem with this vehicle) Google if you wish.
Front left wing will need some TLC on the paint work. It was like this when we bought it, someone decided to scrub it with a tough cloth. It never bothered us too much so left it. I was quoted £100 to get it sprayed. See pic above.
Only has one key. The battery died, so instead of buying a new key (£150 plus, from the dealer) I got MVT to programme another diamond thob. We use this for locking and the other key to start etc. Was just a saving idea from myself.
As far as I'm aware this is a very accurate description of our toy! You will not be disappointed with this car as a new owner.
The car is a great looking machine and still gets lots of heads turning along with people still asking questions. This is a great offer and in my opinion a bargain at this price.
