2 Door Pro Touring Car
The mid 50’s were some of the best of all times in the USA!!! The economy was good, life was exciting, especially for teens… hanging out at the local drive-in was a revered ritual, showing off the coolest styles of the day and of course the cars that gave a boost to the individual’s personalities. Probably the most significant of that time was the ’55 Chevy 2 Door Bel Air, and quite naturally it has become one of the most frequently restored and modified by enthusiasts from all over the world.
This particular example has been restored and enhanced in all of the right places with the objective to provide a modern perspective to those great years in this country’s automotive heritage.
The finish is spectacular, exterior in gloss red and enhanced with fine beige leather seating and trim panels fitted perfectly to every curve, corner and edge. The digital dash provides a welcome enhancement in the cabin area and yet retains the design of the times Power on this jewel has reached the level of completely exhilarating, utilizing the Corvette Fuel Injected LT1 motor and 700 R4 Automatic Transmission.
