Description

1970 Camaro SS Tribute
Reducing my collection
Up for auction is my 1970 Camaro SS Tribute. I received this car in restored condition, however it was painted black. I had the entire car disassembled, blasted, and painted to near original color. I added the SS stripes, cowl induction hood, and rear spoiler.
Car sits on brand new Cooper radials, new brakes and runs like a brand new car. The fresh engine was built by the previous owner. Odometer has 2278 miles on it, however I did not build the motor, so not sure of what it has inside, but it runs strong with a mild cam, victor jr intake and headers flowing into dual exhaust.
The car is as straight as can be with NO dings, dents or bondo repairs. The floor are all original. The car started life in California, and I just purchased it last year. It's been in climate controlled environment since. If you are looking for a original sheet metal car with NO bondo or filler panels then this is the one.
This Camaro is not perfect and a trailer queen, but rather built to drive and it goes no where without turning heads, and getting compliments.
Recently installed during reiteration is a new:
Fresh 350 CID
Racing radiator with dual electric fans
Brake Booster
Brakes
Tires,
Paint
Spoiler
GM Goodmark Cowl Induction Hood ( I may still have original available)
New Interior
Autometer Gages
Alpine Stereo System
Undercoating
Engine dress up kit
Tinted Windows
New Hurst 4 speed shifter
This is a true hard to find gem, and if you have been looking for a Generation 2 Camaro the price is going up everyday. The good ones are getting harder to find. If you found an original number matching SS in this condition you would be writing a big $$ check, instead enjoy this tribute for a fraction of the price. This is a factory 4 speed car and shifts perfect.
I plan to sell this car so all reasonable offers will be considered, however don't waste either of our time making silly offers, cause I don't need to sell it.
My feedback speaks for itself, so feel confident in buying from me. I make no warranties, or guarantees on this vehicle and the above description does not imply any. The Camaro is sold as is, where is and shipping or pick up will be the responsibility of the buyer.
I will assist and help any shipper with meeting them for vehicle pick up, and the car is located in a commercial building for easier pick up.
If you have any questions please ask, and thanks for looking. Please take note that this car is for sale through other media sources and can be cancelled anytime if sold.
Fine Print: If you win the auction, I must be paid a deposit of $500.00 within 24 hours. If you are going to need more than 5 days to pick it up, I will require payment of $2,000 within 72 hours. You can pay the balance in CASH, or wire transfer prior to taking possession. I have a CLEAR North Carolina Title in hand for the winner.
