WHAT AN ABSOLUTE SOLID CAR!!!! For sale is my 1967 Camaro Convertible which came to life as a Madera red 6 cylinder three speed on the floor factory car. I purchased it in 1999 and its been garaged ever since. It's now set up to be an RS and has a rebuilt M21 4-speed and 396/325HP big block. I'm almost certain the 396 is from a 1968 Camaro (block# T1227MW 18N382472) The 396 was rebuilt in 2000 with everything down to the bare block with just a standard rebuild, with a mild Crane cam, roller rockers and Pete Jackson gear drive. Nothing real special in the motor, I didn't want a racer. There hasn't been 200 miles on the car since the motor rebuild. The car runs and drives although it could use a good carburetor adjustment. After the motor rebuild I started stripping the car and it has sat garaged ever since. I have pics of the car stripped. I stripped the car down to bare metal and the only rot I found was a size of a half dollar on the front drivers lower fender. I couldn't bare to replace the OEM fender so I cut out the rust and welded a small patch in. The back quarters were replaced sometime in its life and they still look great. I had no idea they were replaced until I stripped it. It was not whole quarters, just 3/4 I guess you would call it. In these pictures the car is in PPG epoxy primer and its all metal underneath! Any little bit of body filler that was there I removed (1/8" or less) You may see some spots in the pics that have guide coat on them or touch up primer. The floors, trunk and underneath are absolutely solid and nice except for some surface rust.Like I said it is set up for an RS with the correct fenders lower valance and tail panel holes. I do not have the RS headlights ,tail lights or emblems. I have all the trim, interior, emblems and chrome that came with the standard car so what ever came with the six cylinder Camaro, I have it. And its in decent shape not show quality. It also has a factory power top which works. Non power stearing and brakes. Still has the open end rear. I've had this car for 20 years now and I just lost interest. I will post a link to a video of the undercarriage and also a walk around and one of it running once I get to it. Please check back for those. I am not intersected in trades and I will not give it away. The Dynacorn Camaros bodies are going for $12,000.00! You can own the real thing and it runs and drives! Clean title in hand.
