Description
Perfect for someone looking for a solid original vehicle.
Stored for YEARS in a garage, estimated 10 years. Very Solid Original 1980 Camaro Z28 VIN# 1P87LAN545075 with 66K original miles. I believe I am the 3rd owner. Purchased from an individual who has owned it since 1989, the vehicle was rarely driven and never in the rain.
T-Tops with original GM covers
350 with original Rochester Quadrajet carburetor (Runs Great)
Air Induction Hood with is in working condition
Power Windows
Non AC vehicle
No known accidents or indications of such
Appears to be original paint and striping
Tires like new
I purchased the car with the intention to customize. However, the car is in such good, solid original condition, I didn't want to customize it, except I did replace the exhaust system from the catalytic converter back with a flow master exhaust system. Also needed to replace the master cylinder, all brakes and rotors. Plus recent new battery, oil change and fluid changes. From looking over the vehicle, all options are working except the clock. Body is solid!, bottom of fenders, quarterpanels, floor pans in excellent shape.Trunk pans have minimal surface rust, see pic.
Paint and body has been untouched, I haven't rub it out or anything to keep it in as original condition as possible for a collector.
Misc: All of the rubber moldings appear in good shape. I checked the seal of the T-Tops and Truck and both are ok. Items that may need some attention: The window felts need to be replaced. The interior headliner is loose but it appears that it can be repositioned for a snug fit. There is a small faded paint spot on the rear spoiler.
