COSMETIC CONDITION - EXTERIOR BODY & TRIM / INTERIOR

The body of the SS is finished in one of the favorite colors, Nantucket blue. The car has always been this color in and out.
The paintwork on the Camaro was completed to a very high standard, and was a nuts and bolts rotisserie restoration, including the door-jambs, trunk, and underside of the hood and interior panels. It was painted by the previous owner in 2007 or 2008, the Camaro has been garaged and extremely well cared for since that time. The car has been used strictly as a collector car.
All of the body panels fit correctly and the car is tight, solid and rattle free.

The body of the Chevrolet is exceptionally straight and free from any dents, or damage. It is obvious that great care has been taken to keep this car is excellent condition both mechanically and cosmetically.

In addition to the body of the car, the engine bay is also extremely clean and original. Based on the block numbers, the Camaro retains its original engine complete with the Rochester Quadrajet 4bbl carburetor, factory air cleaner and chromed valve covers. The engine bay is totally stock and does not have aftermarket chrome, performance parts or upgrades.

The trunk on this car is spotless. The The trunk has the era correct inflatable mini-spare, jack and lug wrench. There is a stock style trunk mat in place.

* Original & Numbers Matching Engine
* Beautiful Chrome, Trim, & Stainless Steel
* Very clean undercarriage
* Original style side window glass
* Doors open and close perfectly with no sagging
* Front and rear suspension is tight & solid

The bumpers, with guards, are in excellent condition, free from dents, and do not show any pitting, dents, dings, or damage. They are in absolutely beautiful condition.

When it comes to the body of the Camaro, all of the body panels, including doors, hood and trunk, are very straight, line up well, and close solidly. An inspection of the rocker panels, rear lower fenders, under hood area, spare tire "well", and undercarriage shows it all to be in excellent shape. The remaining exterior trim is in good condition and reflects the cars high quality restoration over the years. The stainless is bright like new and free from dents or dings.
The door locks, inside and out, function properly and the door locks work.
INTERIOR

The interior is in beautiful condition and appears to be largely original with factory options, having the appearance of a 1967 Camaro that is a year old. It is clear that any work that was done to the car was done in a high quality manner utilizing replacement factory style materials. The dash is fitted with an original AM radio that has a Chevrolet logo on the front.

The entire interior including front & rear seats, door panels, carpeting, trunk, trim, etc are excellent. The seats are firm and the material is flat and free from wrinkles. The rear seat is excellent.

The Camaro is equipped with the factory console, and factory center mounted gauges that are all functional. The car also is equipped with a new replaced speedometer, factory tachometer and the SS trim including the "SS" logo on the steering wheel horn button. Additionally, it is equipped with power steering and also front disc brakes. The Camaro has a rare, factory style, tilt steering wheel. The car is equipped with retractable seat belts, both front and rear.

All of the electrical system headlights, lights, turn signals, interior lights, and charging system are fully functional.

A minor issue with the front bucket seats is that they are not the original seats. They appear to be from a 69 Camaro but have been covered professionally and slightly visible on the top is the headrest slot which this car did not come with.
The body, paint and interior are show class.

The car has factory style retractable belts both front and rear in a rare matching blue color.

ENGINE & MECHANICAL COMPONENTS

This Camaro SS runs and drives extremely well, a reflection of the care that it has received over the years.

The total mileage on the Camaro? The mileage showing on the new replaced odometer is just over 1500 miles. The odometer had been replaced during the nut and bolts restoration. The original mileage on the car as a result of its age cannot be verified but reports from owner to owner suggest that the mileage is reasonably low and the condition would certainly support that low reading. So, in the last 5 years since the current owner purchased the car, it has been driven very little.
