Description
All original, numbers matching survivor. 4,439 miles. Purchased used in August of 1978 (the original owner had it for only 6 months!). The car has been garaged and very rarely driven over the last 36 years by the 2nd owner. It is in excellent running condition and was just serviced before putting up for sale. It fires right up and was driven to the service location and back. The only mechanical issue is the antenna does not go up and down.
The interior is in fantastic condition. The leather, vinyl and carpets are in incredible shape and everything works electronically. The owner has the original owner's manual, original bill of sale (price was $11,654), locking gas cap, and even the original key ring from Chevrolet. Unfortunately, there is no window sticker, so complete list of options is unknown.
The exterior looks beautiful, and this car draws a lot of attention. It looks showroom new as you approach it, but it does have some marks on the original paint which I will describe in detail:
1. There are drips on the hood/left front fender. Something dripped on it in storage (photos below). These drips are ingrained in the paint.
2. The threshold on the driver's side is scuffed (photo below). The owner moved the car in and out of his garage many, many times over the years to get access to different things/vehicles, so this is a result.
3. The very edge of the driver's door (where it latches) is scuffed from opening the door and contacting a wall.
4. Blemish on the back of the passenger side mirror
5. The driver's side door does not quite line up perfectly when it closes (can be seen in the photo where the striping doesn't line up perfectly)
6. There are miscellaneous small surface marks on the car if you examine it very closely
The car has never been modified. All numbers match. No accidents, no dents, no dings. It is a straight, clean, exceptional survivor.
I have higher resolution versions of all of these photos that can be sent. It really is a beautiful car.
