Description

I have owned this car for over five years and have extensive maintenance and origination records.

Here are some of its highlights:
Powerful, numbers-matching L-48 350 cubic inch (5.7L) V-8Numbers-matching turbo-hydramatic 400 automatic transmissionStraight, rust-free frameCode-correct silver paint in excellent condition (8.5/10)Show quality, code-correct black vinyl interior (9/10)BF Goodrich Radial T/As have plenty of tread (90% front, 85% rear)Factory power steering, power brakes, a/c and tilt and telescopic steeringAll gauges work except for the clock; however, I will include a new original-style quartz clockT-tops seal well and have not leaked since I've owned the carNew battery, spark plugs and wiper bladesPertronix electronic ignition upgrade (hidden under original shielding)Original factory tank build sheet, original owner's manual, and countless service records and receiptsI am selling the car only because I purchased a newer Corvette, and need the garage space to store the new one. If I were able to keep the car, I would address the following:
Radio is not working. I believe this is the original radio, and it has not worked since I have owned the car. This never bothered me, as I enjoyed listening to the engine notes. The passenger side window needs to be adjusted. This can easily be done by removing the inner door panel, and adjusting the set bolts. There is some play in the steering. I have had my mechanic look it over, and he believes a new rag joint would tighten the steering. The air conditioning system is in need of a re-charge. It has blown cold air since I have owned the car, however this summer the system is due for a re-charge.This is a very clean driver/local show car, that has been kept in very original condition. I have always kept this car in a garage, under a cover when not in use. I have only driven the car approximately 4,000 miles since purchasing in 2008. The engine is smooth, and has great power considering it is the base choice. The car drives straight, and the transmission shifts exactly as it should. I truly enjoy driving this car, and I am saddened to see it go. Consider my loss, your gain.
That being said, I urge any potential buyers to understand if they have never owned a classic car, these cars need and deserve attention. This is not an ideal "daily driver". Please do not expect this to be like a new car from a dealership.
Thank you for your interest, and I wish you happy bidding. Please feel free to message me, or give me a call (between 9am and 9pm CST) if you have specific questions (eight one seven - two five three - four three seven three). I would be more than happy to help clarify anything, or send additional pictures if necessary.
