1968 68 CHEVROLET CHEVY OPEN ROAD MOTORHOME VINTAGE CLASSIC C20 327 RV COOL

Why look like every other camper at the lake or rv park when you can have the coolest one there. We are car people and planned on fixing this up for car shows and vacations but times have changed and we are selling one of the coolest campers I've ever seen. The rear tailgate folds down and makes into a deck and the whole back end is sliding glass doors. We have owned it for many years now with the idea of restoring it but a new business is forcing us to downsize and unfortunately this needs a new home. Let me start by saying that this is a running ,driving PROJECT. It has been sitting now for at least 3 years. Before that everything worked on it. It fired right up but the gas smells old. The brakes are down but I will have them in working order before it is shipped. One of the glass pieces on the sliding door is cracked and will need replaced.There is dryrot in the sealing around the a/c and the front vent that I tried to show in the pics. It is totally self contained having its own factory onan generator,bathroom with shower,stove and refrigerator. The fridge ,heater and rooftop a/c all worked three years ago. At this time the operation of them is unknown. The tires are practically brand new. They may have 200 miles on them. We did away with the old split rims and installed some off of a 2002 dually including the hubcaps and six new radial tires. It still runs the original 327 numbers matching motor and only has 61k on it. I have never seen another tranny like this one. It appears to be a turbo 400 but there is no park on it. Check out the pic of the steering column. There isn't even a P for park on it. There is an electric park brake on it from the factory. I never liked this set up and have a known good turbo 400 that I will let go with it if someone wants it. I would plan on having it shipped as it has been sitting for several years and will need work before it is roadworthy.You will also need to be handy with wood in order to get this very cool classic restored.
