1955 Custom 2 door Chevrolet wagon street rod, not a Nomad I said I wouldn't lower the reserve below $27,500 but I'm eating my words! Now $25,500.00!!!
Former magazine car built for Audiobahn to use at car shows. This car draws a crowd anywhere it sits. I have one magazine that comes with the car. Build is about ten years old but the finish looks like it was just completed other than a chip on each door. Always garaged and the car came to me from California. The paint job is second to none with multi-colors with the colors going into the door jambs. This was a body-on build. Body gaps are perfect, rubber moulding looks new. Nicely dressed 350 engine with polished intake chrome valve covers and breather. It has good power with less than 1,500 miles since built. The wagon also has a 350 turbo transmission with good firm shifts. The car has been lowered and has that right stance. It rolls on Colorado Customs 18" rims with 245-40-18 BF Goodrich tires in great shape. New items include Ididit chrome tilt steering column with steering wheel to match the wheels. It comes with power rack and pinion steering, power brakes and power windows, March serpentine belt system, black leather custom interior. New aluminum radiator with electric fan (has never run hot with me). Runs 170 degrees running down the road, 180 to 185 the most when sitting in the Alabama heat. New mini starter and new polished alternator. New Holley carb just installed. New polished air conditioner compressor (not hooked up, compressor only). New Flowmaster exhaust system. The interior is filled with Audiobahn speakers with three amps and twin 18" subs. A KDC 448U Kenwood tuner was just professionally installed. If you want to be seen and heard this is the car for you!
Why am I selling?? I've had two neck surgeries and face more in the future and the car is just sitting in our garage..it needs to be driven and shown! I have the car insured for $40,000.00 as it was appraised by the insurance company.
The listing shows clear title as required by ebay. The car comes with bill of sale and current registration only. Alabama doesn't issue titles for vehicles built before 1975.
