You are looking at a 1955 first series chevy 5 window rat rod truck.
The 1955 chevy has been mounted to a 1991 chevy s-10 chassis.
The truck has power tilt steering, power disc brakes,( anti-lock on rear). fuel injected vortec engine with a 4 speed (700r4) automatic transmission. The truck has a new custom radiator with electric fan., new plugs and wires, new fuel pump and filter. It has been "body dropped" onto the frame. This means it looks lowered, but the suspension is stock, so it rides really nice! Plus, if it was bagged, it would be on the ground! Gas tank is under the bed, out of the cab.Truck is sitting on 18 inch steel wheels.
The truck has all new tinted glass, new window seals, new seat cover, wooden steering wheel, floor pans are good, and original, except for the transmission tunnel had to be raised to account for the body drop, the floors were then covered with truck bed liner for protection. Overall, a very solid old truck!
the paint is clear coated to bring out the nice patina!
It runs and drives like a more modern, fuel injected truck, definitely better than it did in 1955!
The truck is not new, and not perfect. May need additional work/finishing to your liking. Currently has no tags and has not been driven very far, or fast yet. G.M. does not warranty these trucks for over 60 years, neither will I! So this is an "as is" no warranty sale, $500 deposit is due at the end of the auction and is not refundable, do not bid if you are not a real buyer!
